Think of a topic that you have covered in social studies this year. Then please search for books on Destiny Quest on that particular topic. Compile a list of books that we currently have in the Media Center that your teacher could utilize in the future to enhance that unit. Submit that list to both your teacher and the Media Center staff.

Souvenirs are a way of people remembering places that they have visited. Please choose a book to read in the World section. Then be thinking about what souvenirs you might bring back home with you, if you visited this place. Please provide three souvenirs that one might pick up, if they traveled to this location of the United States. Perhaps you choose to read a book about a place that you already have visited, and can share some souvenirs with the Media Center, that you actually have. Or, you could make souvenirs that you could sell, if you lived there. Souvenirs shared with the Media Center need a caption card to explain why that souvenir is important to your location. Souvenirs need your name on them, as all will be returned to you, after they have been used in a display.
